Woops. Trentonjoe, that Tovar is literally unplayable. By our rules, a fielder has to have at least a D/D (1/1) somewhere.
  • All non-catcher fielders must have at least one fielding position in which he is above D- in fielding percentage and range, both.
  • If a catcher albatross is chosen, he must have above D- in both fielding percentage and arm, and any catcher must come from 1901 or later (making passed balls more difficult to find) -- unless he is D or above in both fielding and range at another position.

With the twelfth pick in the Albatross Screw Fielder draft, for ItalyProf, Trentonjoe picks Lee "Press-on Nails" Thomas 1963 and a slick fielding first baseman he is.

Only his ex-wife.

Oh, I might have made an error, I thought the fielder had to have above a D-, so I have to double-check on Balboni - there was another version of him.
6/6/2015 10:28 AM
Yeah, Balboni does not have a D-. So I goofed. Have to try again. Sorry. More soon.

Okay, I am lost. I had just read above that the fielders have to be D- somewhere, so I switched the choice of Balboni for another owner.

Just checked Lee Thomas and he is an A fielder but a .220 hitter.

I am seriously confused about what we are doing now.

Balboni is fine Italyprof. I quoted the rules. See "above" in the above.  ;->  I'll paste it here too, so you can see above below..

  • If a catcher albatross is chosen, he must have above D- in both fielding percentage and arm, and any catcher must come from 1901 or later (making passed balls more difficult to find) -- unless he is D or above in both fielding and range at another position.

Glad you're enjoying, Mick.

Let's find out who the last three simmers are, who know what's good for them.

Sorry, Arlen, I read too quickly and seemed to see "must have at least one D-" - maybe I was thinking of one or more of my students !  , though now that I think of it, if one of them had read something I require them to read for class that quickly and made such an error I would have let them know it. Though on the other hand, I was grading their papers and quizzes which is why I read things in a hurry on the Forum.

So it all evens out !

As long as Mr. Balboni isn't personally hurt...
