Ok, I know that I'm old/stupid, but I'm not getting it...

Shouldn't the 1969-2015 salaries be zero...

Or was this an attempt at humour , which at 6:20 I'm missing...

schwarze updated the rules for this go-around to allow up to 20M for 1969-2015

I even highlighted this rule in the page 1 description, which I assumed everybody read...

I have found that this theme works well as a 24-team league, with two separate and distinct drafts.  The first version included just the years 1920-1968.  The second version included the years 1901-1968 but limited the pre-1920 pitchers to a max of $20 million of salary per team.  That worked well as there were plenty of HRs hit (11 players hit 30+ HRs).  This third version will include the years 1901-2015 but will have two restrictions:

1901-1919 Pitchers' Salaries < $20 million per team
1969-2015 All players salaries < $20 million per team

I'm going with the White Sox

Yes, I need a better term to differentiate this from sinfonian's original Rule V.  This theme includes pre-1969 seasons, but version III has opened up a limited number of post-1969 players.
