Let's break some records. All offense. Must use exactly these 6 pitchers. 92 Ryan Bowen Houston Astros, 80 Jack Billingham Detroit Tigers, 00 Darwin Cubillan Texas Rangers, 97 Dave Stevens Chicago Cubs, 00 Jaime Navarro Milwaukee Brewers, 04 Denny Stark Colorado Rockies. All teams at Coors. Division winners will be determined by most runs scored.
BREAK THE SCORING RECORD III is in the playoffs now. Most of the Team Batting records have been rewritten.
kammeyer scored
27,318 runs.
pinstripes5 hit
5259 doubles,
blazinrocks hit
7322 homers,
parkranger had a
3.128 OPS,
dodgebob allowed
22120 earned runs, I allowed
7083 homers - all new records. (Somebody needs to go for triples!). We can do better!
Currently set up for 16 teams - balanced interleague play. I will expand if there is enough interest.
The technique for putting up huge offensive numbers involves playing the top run producers at all positions.
Note: For this round the 255 rollover bug will be ignored. For those that don't know, during the game if you score more than 255 runs your total rolls over to 0 and starts counting up again. It happened 20 or so times last season. If you are home team and the visiting team "rolls over", you may not get to bat in the bottom of the ninth because you appear to be ahead. Likewise, if you are home team and you rollover, you may get to bat in the bottom of the ninth because you appear to be trailing. Sim refuses to fix the bug, so we are just gonna live with it and let the chips fall where they may.
