by the way, realignment will be random.  I got the info regarding who homered off who and who struck who out on www.baseball-reference.com.  It may take a little research, but heopefully not much.  If you need any help, just ask.

noobie question: the draft center is telling me i'm in an open league and have an 80 mil cap.  Can I start to build the roster from here, or should I do it somewhere else (spreadsheet, paper, etc) and then put it into the draft center once i have the league number?

I haven't joined a league in quite some time... but this one's right up my alley. Sign me up!

pttsburghkid - you can use the spring draft center - just ignore the 80m cap - it will keep tracking the salaries as high as you want... complete your team there and then you can copy it into the real league once you have the league number.

#11.....A/A defense

is that A/A defense or A/A defense or better.....?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but one roster had an A+/A+ defender here, so I just wanted to clarify.....

ARGH!!!  I made my first attempt at building my team, and stopped and cleared it all away because I thought I was over the cap with several spots still to go.  I was then feeling pretty miserable as I started over, not liking the first 9 guys I put together last night nearly as much as my first group.  Then, just now while looking over the rules again, I realized that I thought the cap was 100 mil.  I'll bet I could have finished my first team at under 140.  DAMN MY LYING EYES!

3rd times the charm, I hope......

Based on the players Wylie took for his A/A and D/D defenders, I take it to mean A-anything and D-anything.
