Questions for the $110M theme:

1.   It states: "The four people in each group will then draft their entire 25-man roster from their selected franchise."

I assume this is incorrect and we are to draft from the available 4 franchises in our assigned group. (Otherwise the only reason to draft is to block players that would appear on the other 3 franchises).

2.  For the franchise portion of the draft, it sounds like the draft order would be by owner ranking as follows: 

21, 17, 13, 9, 5, 1, 22, 18, 14, 10, 6, 2, 23, 19, 15, 11, 7, 3, 24, 20, 16, 12, 8, 4

and that we'll end up with 24 unique franchises?

You misunderstand. 

There is one franchise per 4-person group/division.  The entire 4-person group drafts from that one franchise.  The draft order for franchise is based on round 1 rankings.  The owner ranked #21 picks first (and that will be the franchise used by owners #21-24).  Then #17 picks, then #13, #9, #5 and #1.   The player draft order within each 4-person group is determined randomly.

In the instructions for the $90M twist team you say "You cannot use the same season/team combination for any two twisted players." How does that apply in this situation. Say you have a team with Maddux and Smoltz as starting pitchers. Two years later, Maddux and Smoltz are still teammates. Clearly you can't twist both to the same season and add an additional teammate for each of them (for example, Chipper and Glavine). That violates the above quoted rule. But could you twist Maddux to the team two years later and then add Smoltz as his teammate?
