That's because no money is at stake. I doubt anyone plays this tournament for the $250. It is the challenge. If millions of dollars were involved, it wouldn't run as smoothly. You would have all the skeptics thinking it was fixed and those trying to figure out a way to fix it. I'm sure there are a few already out there maybe even in this tournament.

I don't want to fill up this thread with non draft posts but I always wondered what profession does best in WIS, programmers, statisticians, baseball people ... I'm not sure if anyone would post their profession but it would be curious if a new thread was started where we posted our profession in general terms no need to brag about what we do and have one of the math geniuses crunch the numbers to come up with the profession we should all have our kids become so they can rule WIS.

I just created it in SimLeague baseball general discussions, https://www.whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?TopicID=489142 title "Professions that do best in WIS". Now we just need to find a math person to crunch the numbers.

I was once told by a professor that actuaries are geniuses. That's when I realized I should be majoring in something else.

Starting tomorrow, I will start using this format instead of the one-pick-per row format. 

In an unrelated note, despite 57 pitchers already off the board, I really hope brianjw takes two more hitters.
