What a minute.  Are you saying you went 0-12 and all 12 losses were by one run?  OUCH!

Wanna hear a real OUCH??

In the $120mil league, I have Ruth, Bonds, Williams and McGwire (RL averages all over .278) all hitting under .228.  Ruth..BABE FREAKIN' RUTH...RL AVG of .323, is hitting .193 in a $120mil league where hitters are feasting.  Complete BS.

I think alot of hitters in the 120M are hitting way below their RL avg.  With the min HR rule for pitchers, everybody went low WHIP.  Recently, I had four players at .202 or less - and was still winning my division.

I know, but it's Ruth we're talking about here.

Caught in another vicious cycle of 3-3's.  Fighting to tread water and hold my place in the "cage".

With a 2-1 lead in the ninth and two outs, Mariano Rivera (who I've never seen IBB anyone, let alone with two outs), intentionally walks Eddie Perez of all people to get to Galarraga, who hits the game-tying single.  My IBB setting was at "2" (I thought it was at 1, and have since changed it, but I still don't think that situation should occur).  A closer hardly ever IBB's anyone, but especially not with two outs.

Now, there was a runner on second, but again, Rivera (or any good closer) would certainly not walk the winning run on base with two outs, and especially with a light-hitting righty at the plate.

I've been in the 25-27 range a couple of times, but the bottom of that &*^$$@##! cage has proven impervious thus far.

Not true.  I fell through the bottom of that sucker a week ago.

It's impervious from the outside.  The inside walls are quite permeable.

Those themes for round 2 are interesting. It's a shame I won't be able to draft for that since my teams are lucky to finish .500. Those of you that make should have some fun constructing teams for the themes.

6-12 in my last three sessions.  the wheels are coming off.
9/1/2010 1:36 PM
*sigh*...in the top 24 for 2-3 weeks, at least a week since my last sub .500 session...and now 2-4, 2-4, 2-4, 1-5...from 18th to 28th.   Three of my teams are in a string of games against division leaders right now and getting hammered.  Let's hope it ends soon.

Yea, finally hit .500! If I finish here, I think I'll be at where my pre-rank should be. We still have half a season left, plenty of time to make a charge.
