Has anyone made the 2nd round with a 100-loss team? 

If not, it gives me something to strive for...

And our division standings are similar to yours, the top 3 teams are in this division, while another division is battling it out with 2 teams tied for first, both sitting 7 games under .500

This sounds so bad

I was pretty close to the cage (#25, I think, actually) after a 5-1 and then a schwarze a few sessions ago, but after an overnight 2-4 and this pm's mauch, I've fallen away yet again.  It's beginning to look like my only chance to advance is to sgsmith*.

* This is a reference to last year's Round 2, where at the end of the season I was in about 9th place with only 2 playoff teams.  Both teams won the world series**, though, giving me enough points for 2nd place overall. 

** "sgsmith" is only a provisional name for this accomplishment, and one that I'm certain will seem wholly inappropriate after my Round 1 playoff team(s) (if any) bomb out in the divisional series this year.

I'm gonna need an sgsmith by the looks of it.  I've been hanging around 20-25 for a while now, but will likely end up with only 2-3 playoff teams.

I'm trying to establish "Commish" as a term for someone with a 100-loss team that makes it into the cage.  I have three 1st place teams and two others fighting for the wildcard to try and counteract my $120M bed-shitter (current pace for 61-101)

70mil team claws it's way to within one of the WC...then gets swept by the first place team, swept by the WC leading team.  An L6 later (and W6 for the WC team) and I'm now 7 back after just 6 games.  FML

So tired of the inconsistency in this effin game.  I have at least 4 teams now who are/were above .500, get dominated by last place teams 10-20 games back in the standings, while my WC/division competition beats those teams.  I've had two teams who were leading for playoff spots/within 2 games, now way out in the races after just 5 days of play, and a 3rd team that had a 5-6 game division lead, now tied again because they're losing to the last place team while the other team in my division beats the best team in the league (who, of course, I can't beat).

I'm ready to send WIS a big eff you and throw my computer across the room. If I'm even with a team this late in the season, there's no way I should be losing to BOTH the first and last place teams, while they beat them both.  Not a lick of consistency.  I'd rather have six ****** teams that I know are ****** and consistently play ******, rather than have WIS string me along for 3/4 of the season and then have 3-4 of my teams just tank in a way that does not go AT ALL with how they've played throughout the season so far.

Dude, that's baseball. Happens all the time. Just look at the Padres this year.

Imagine the living quarters littered with abandoned playing cards and dice that have been forcefully rejected because they lack "consistency."

Ugh...the dreaded Mauch to fall out of the cage.

My first 6-0 since the first week in the season is followed up by a 1-5, including four 1-run losses (2 blown saves, a 13-inning loss and a 20-inning 1-0 loss).
