Just to be clear, isn't it true that you can't make a pick early unless we are completely caught up?

Just to be clear, isn't it true that you can't make a pick early unless we are completely caught up?
I screwed up by picking early.  I thought my pick was at 12:00 but it was really 12:30.  Will try not to let that happen again unless we are on schedule.
