George Henry

Not to be confused with George Henry Ruth, who was already selected
Nor to be confused with George Herman Ruth, for that matter

:)

FYI - In case anybody is worried, footballmm11 has contacted me.  He is purposely skipping his picks.  He says he is close to the salary cap (with 10 players) and needs time to figure out what to do.

We can continue to skip him.  He'll catch up once he figures it all out.
looking at the rosters I think a lot of people have the same problem.

Boy, it sure seems that way.  Just looking at names drafted, I keep wondering how are people able stay under the cap (unless they downgrade some of the seasons).  Heck, I bypassed some big-name players as early as the third round (passing up Reulbach, K.Kelly etc.)  so I could have some cap flexibility.  Maybe people are going light on innings (I have 1486 not including mopup).

Yeah, it finally dawned on me about five rounds ago that I would have cap problems.   I was hoping i can get up to 1400 innings, but that might not be enough for this cap.  Of well,  I'll take Dwight Evans who is pretty cheap.

You have over 1500 IP?  I really don't think it will take that many unless using a very hitter friendly ballpark.  I rarely draft 1500+ IP unless playing in $130M caps and higher.  That said...I'd  definitely rather draft more IP than needed than significantly less.  My pitching staff is at 1342 IP right now (3 SP and 5 RP), and I need one more starting position with approximately $14.2M left.  Slightly tighter than I would like...but I don't see much of a problem.  I'm not planning on drafting but 100-115 more IP.

Of course, I don't have any superstars in my lineup either!

mensu1954, half of my innings belong to Silver King and I've never been able to use all of them.  I'll give him 81 starts and he'll end up with about 680 innings.
