Are those stats you listed including scrubs?  I am comparing my stats (without scrubs) to yours.  Very similar, although it's obvious we're not in the same era.  Without giving away too much information, my batters' AVG and OBP is higher than yours but my SLG% is lower.  For pitching, my IPs and WHIP are pretty much the same as what you are showing, but my K/9 and HR/9 are both way lower (which gives away the era).  My OAV is higher.

In the 120 mil league, it says 2 hitters (>500 PA/162) have to have over .400 AVG, then 4 more hitters over. 350.  Do the players over .350 also have to be >500PA/162 and is exactly 500 PA/162 OK or does it have to be more than 500?

From the description:

You must roster at least two full-time hitters (>500 PA/162) with real life batting averages of .400 or better. You must roster an additional four full-time hitters with real-life batting averages of .350 or better (this can include additional .400 hitters if you wish).

Schwarze has the call but when I read that, I see that the definition of full time is a position player with > 500 PA (therefore the 4 x .350 BAvg players need to have > 500 PA).

I would also think that the minimum PA needed would be 501 (or the wording should be changed to say "500 PA/162 or greater" similarly to how the .350 or better implies that having .350 is OK, but > 500 PA/162 implies that having exactly 500 PA would not.

I read the description, I just want to know exactly what schwarze has to say.  I had a guy over.350 with exactly 500 PA/162.  I just want to know for sure if I could use him.

I meant this to read >= 500 PA.  When I use limits, I always use 150, 200, 500, etc.  not 151, 201, 501.  So, it should read >= 500.

And yes, besides the .400 hitters, you also need 4 players with 500+ PA/162 that hit .350 or higher,  (.350 as it comes up in the search engine... not sure how the search engine rounds).

I modified the rule so there is no more confusion.  Who knew there'd be a guy with exactly 500 PA who hit .350+.

Those stats do include my scrubs, but I have the same sub 300k guys pretty much, so there isn't much difference. I thought for sure one of my guys I am looking at would be one that you had.

I'm glad you posted those...my team's stats are worse in every category.  Not by much, but still, all worse.  Back to the drawing board :P

schwarze...I have a feeling it's a no on this, but I thought I'd ask anyway:  Can we use 2011 as one of our Vet's years, and twist his current team?

No

finally put together a 70 mil team but boy does my offense blow.
6/26/2011 7:10 PM
Imagine the offense of a 70M team with the same defensive requirements as the 90M league.
6/26/2011 9:17 PM
It would probably resemble the 2011 Oakland A's or Phillies (minus the pitching of course)

For the 120mil league...Do the remaining players after the 6 (2 with .400 average  or greater and 4 with .350 or higher average) players with over 500 PA's.. Do your remaining 3 starters need over 500 PA's as well as over a .300 average? Or can we platoon those 3 players and have just the over .300 BA requirement? A little bit of a confusion here..
6/28/2011 2:08 AM
You can platoon.  But anybody else (hitter) on your roster over 300K must have a batting average of .300 or higher.  (The 500 PA rule was specifically so people wouldn't simply roster .400 hitting pinch hitters)
