The cutoff for making Round 2 is usually around 560 points.  With 558 points already accumulated (including playoff bonus), you are probably right on the bubble if you do not win another playoff game.  The good news is that the first tie-breaker is most regular season wins.

Thanks.  My last remaining team is now down 2-0 despite not conceding a single earned run in the first two games.

I was on the bubble in 27th place.  won all 3 first round series.  i hope that's enough to move up to the second round.

Most of the leagues have completed round 1.  The following standings reflect all playoff games.  The "Bonus" column now reflects current points.  The "Tms Left" column shows how many teams have advanced to the next round.  Decimals mean the teams are still alive but haven't advanced yet.  Maximum points assumed that all your remaining teams win the World Series.  You can compare this number with the Point total of the 24th place team to see if you still are mathematically alive.

Well, I'm screwed.  I needed dougpalm to lose tonight to stay in 24th.  Now I'm essentially in 25th place with little or no hope of moving ahead of ejstockman, profcake, ybjsports or dougpalm.  I have to win my next series (currently tied 1-1) to move past shaybee... in which case he's probably screwed.

Plus, we can't overlook the handful of teams behind me that could score over 558 points.

Well looking at the standings I see an error that might give you some extra life schwarze.  While I would have been thrilled to win 2 series, in fact I have only won one.  I count my round one playoff bonus to be at 25(15 for 3 teams + 5 wins + 5 for one series win).  This puts me at 550 points and on the outside of the bubble.  Anyone else see any errors on the standings?

is there somewhere that lists the calculations for the playoff points? this being my first year im kind of at the mercy of everyone else, itd be nice to know how to figure it out.
