Looks like I'm clear to draft a 1B, going with my second submitted player in a row and one of my boyhood heroes...

I am also good to go with a 1B, and will take a favorite WIS player of mine, the 1981 Pete Rose.

Maybe I spoke too soon above there being no 1B run ...

the run on catchers, and then on 3b, convinced me to take a 1b.

ok, it's  time for the run on substitutes

Nice pick of Tom Niedenfuer rbow923.  I almost took him with my pick this round.  But I badly needed a stud hitter.  My offense is lacking (which is what happens when you use an early pick on Omar Vizquel).

I'm waiting for the multiple-round run on RPs.

how is there no run on OFs?....36 starters are needed and by my count only 24-25 of them are any good......

The problem with relievers is that they typically can't win you games (but they certainly can lose you games), so most people don't see huge value in them.

i can't stand having a bad bullpen...they'll lose you plenty of games if they are bad..it's just picking pretty high up each round makes me feel as if i should be able to get some decent relievers later on..

Having a good short IP bullpen won't help if you have bad starting pitching... it'll just burn them out quickly due to fatigue as they'll have to come in often.  So those owners who still need SPs can't afford to just dismiss getting those before trying to get relievers.
