Well, it's still a 2-person race for the title, but rbow923 has FOUR teams left, compared to TWO for brianjw.  The two of them square off in the $110M World Series.  Needless to say, the winner of this series may ultimately decide things.  (Both owners also have teams alive in the 80M theme - which just started, due to all the tie-breaker games).  It would be cool if they both ended up in the W.S. in that league too, since all the other leagues will be done by then.

I think rbow923 will end up winning by a lot. At the start of the playoffs, I thought I would win if I had an OK performance, and rbow923 was anything short of amazing. I've been a bit short of OK, and rbow923 has been unbelievably good - I think 7-1 in playoff series so far. (With me being the only 1.) That kind of performance deserves to win, and unless something dramatic happens from now on, he will.

Well it seems the WIS gods have decided to make it dramatic after all as things have turned for the worse for rbow.  The 1/27am games are critical now as I think he's down 0-2 in 3 of his series and on the verge of elimination in another (down 3-2 to Bighooze in the 100m WS).  He'll need to turn it around soon (and preferably in the head-head WS down 0-2 to Brianjw) or I think we'll have a new WIS champion...

rbow923 has come backl to tie the World Series at 2 games apiece in both the 60M and 110M leagues.  A 2-out-nobody-on-in-the-9th-3-run rally helped him beat me in game 4.

Yes with my 3 run come back in the bottom of the 9th in the 80m LCS to sweep out rbow, it now puts the championship firmly on the result of the H2H between you and him in the 110m league.  Its exciting that its all tied up 2-2 and this might be an great finish to a great tourney.

Hats off to schwarze on another well run WISC and can't wait til next year.

I hope schwarze would consider sending everyone who participated this year (and those that ended up on the wait list) advance notice on next year's tourney so that nobody misses out again.
