in the 70M - does a player have to play for the franchise in the year that you select?  Or does he just have to have played with that team at some point?

well, I finally finished my 100M theme - I don't care how good its going to do, I am just glad its over!  Definitely the most frustrating one for me.

I know the feeling. I spent forever on my $100m team. Built four entire teams and started another 8-10 before giving up on them. In the end I kind of stumbled onto a season and some teams that just clicked. Not 100% perfect as I'm carrying more IP than I'd like to and feel I'm wasting some of my cap, but this is by far the best team I've been able to squeeze out of this theme. 

Though, I have yet to start on my $80 or $120 teams at all and feel the $80 might be even more challenging than the $100; just too many pieces to tinker with.

90 MIL League, i have made 7+ teams and i damn well know i'm taking the wrong team just because i want to see the one of choice and how it will do.

CRAP!

I just caught this, and one of my 5 teams is at $9.3m, and there doesn't appear to be an easy fix, and I don't even have any scrubs from that team. A starting pitcher, my closer, and three halves of platoons...

Yep, without this rule, a 110-loss team could easily be thrown in the mix, just to help with the .500 record.

Prediction: at least a dozen teams will have invalid rosters because of this rule (and the 5 per team rule as well).

The 5 per team was actually harder to maneuver than the $10M-30M.

I agree - I didn't have a problem with the $10-$30M - I had trouble with the 5 per team - 

Honestly, it wasn't a hard theme for me, it was just a time consuming one.  I'd find the teams that worked under the .500 mark, only to find my team was coming in at 80m!

You guys scared the crap out of me! I finished my $100 Mil first and thought I everything correctly. Luckily, I think I'm compliant. I took forever to make that team and I would not want to make that one again. I just went through my groups again in an excel sheet. My cheapest group was $12.57 Mil and my most expensive group was $25 Mil. I got a star from each team and then the rest of the guys are crap. Should be a bad one for me! I'm on my last team, the $110 Mil with Silver King. I'll probably get back to making teams later but need to get them done early as July is a beast of a month for me, only will have a few days free at the end of the month. Happy team-building everyone!

I'm halfway through me team building.  i got the 70mil, 90 mil and 110 mil teams done.   they were the ones i fealt mos comfortable doing so i did them first.   doesn't mean they are worth a darn but i feel better then the years past.

I am one of those dying with this 80 mil theme. on my 10th incarnation so far and they all suck. I soon will just pick one and finish last as usual.

I think it'd be fun to have a real "progressive type" theme - have a season randomly selected and that is the season every team must build from...maybe at a 70M cap -

Looks like I may build these teams in descendilng order.  Built a $115M Clone team and then the $110M King team.  Of course I may revisit that Clone team again... and again...
