And speaking of carolina.... are you kidding me !!! That Huge scandal, the biggest in history and the ncaa keeps looking the other wat!?!? IF IT Were uk the ncaa would have bus loud of investigators a shame with the double standard here

I always get killed in this league but I will be in.

I thought we usually did this around March?

I will pick a team tonight or tomorrow.

This kind of league screams for a blacklist after each season. It's interesting to see how many universities have churned out tons of pretty good players, but have never produced a superstar. I would love to see some of those second tier colleges represented as well.

But I will most likely be in. I just need to make sure I find a team that suits my fancy.

With how long things take to fill in the NBA SIM anymore, it has been getting posted in early January, so it can (hopefully) start around the beginning of March. Thanks for returning.

In the "good old days" we sometimes blacklisted schools for this League, but with the current state of the NBA SIM ownership, doing anything that might cause anyone not to join is probably not a good idea. Restricting the "pick-ups" for the more successful (IRL) schools is the intended equalizer. It worked at least last season. Of course, each season is at least a little different as well.

I would contend that the High School team is pretty stacked; is it also allowed to add a small school player?

No way - high school is high school only, same as foreign, at least that's how I read the rules.  if not it would be pretty unfair. 

Nowhere did I exclude the small school player from either the High School or the Foreign team. Maybe I should have, but since this is the 1st they've even been allowed, I'd like to see what happens before doing so. Three of those four teams are entered, and their stats don't look any different than the single-school teams. There are some much bigger "names" to choose from, but they mostly come with much higher salaries that can't really be used in this League, plus the High School team in particular seems to have a really limited pool of low minute / high quality seasons to use.

Well, most of the good schools have been taken and I want to try someone new.  So let's see what I can do with Clemson Tigers.

Well crap...  I can't get enough minutes with a functional team using Clemson.  Just not a lot of backcourt eligible talent.
