Well the point is that you can't just pile up on Laker greats. If you spend 10 on a low usage Wilt season, no Shaq or Kareem. If you insist on a full season on Magic, you probably can't pair him with Kobe. My Blazers team doesn't have Lamarcus, Brandon Roy, or Lillard. This cap just means you have to make choices. If a Hornets owner can't make room for a decent team, that's on him.

I am not complaining I think it's a good thing, not only does it give every team a chance, but from what I've seen it causes every team to have a larger variety of players. One man's warriors usually won't be the exact same as another's

Not sure a lesser franchise like that has enough salary to get to the cap. (Obviously joking to hopefully put all this pointless banter behind us. The league is what it is. Many owners greatly enjoy it, how competitive it is, and how results vary from season to season. If you feel it's not for you, don't join, but please don't clutter the thread with negativity.)

It's called dissent, not negativity. Also it's called "passive aggressive" not "obviously joking"... to dismiss my opinion as "pointless banter" is as lame as you claim my dissent to be. Hijacking a thread? I haven't done that, however after this rebuttal you are welcome to start a new thread where-ever you would like and we can talk there. I will refrain from anymore talk here. 

By the way, I've been a member of this site since the early 2000's. I used to debate with other owners all the time, and I was hardly the most hard hitting of the bunch. I'm not trying to troll your thread.. but you could quash my claims by simply refuting them or giving me something to refute.. so far you've given me nothing but a hard time.. and are surprised I'm doing the same with you and not falling in line with the quiet endorsement of this league like the apparent majority.

Dissent would simply be ignoring the League because it's not for you. Continually posting in the sign-up thread about how the concept needs changed is negativity. Calling the Heat a lesser franchise and saying they don't have enough salary can be called nothing but a joke, because both aspects are obviously untrue. I don't want to talk to you here, or anywhere else, I just want you to stop posting here, so the League fills as fast as possible. Hopefully you stay true to the claim you will. Thanks for your resume though; I'm truly impressed. Everyone who has bothered to acknowledge you, has refuted you with facts, but you refuse to accept them, so here's another - this League has 20 owners in a handful of days when most Leagues never even get close to that anymore.
