You should take the Pittsburgh Condors then. They were an ABA team in the 71-72 season (now defunct). You would get a lot of cool points from me.

Correction this team was actually active for 5 seasons from 67 to 72. Pipers then Condors.

Plenty of great teams left:  Indiana Pacers, Minnesota Twolves, NY/NJ/Bklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors (currently in the Conf Finals), Vancouver/Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz....

Commish asked for someone to take a 2nd team since you were "missing". Someone did and League schedule is already created. Several owners want to proceed "as is" regardless, but I, for one, would like to hear why the big delay, without even a site-mail to the Commish asking for an extension, because I'd hate to kick a guy who's already down due to a "real" problem.

The commissioner sitemailed me on 11/15 to ask me when I would have my team in. I messaged him I would have it ready yesterday night. I never heard back from him.  I was late on my promise, but only by 12 hours as I paid and attempted to put my team in this morning. I was not contacted to be informed of your group decision to replace me. I do not wish to delay the league, but no hard deadline was provided to me. Thank you. Life will go on :) I explained my predicament in a message to customer service. At best I expect a refund. Perhaps I will get started on starting my own league for the future.

They'll tell you teams never expire: just save it for next time - no way they give you refund.
