The cap seems really low. I mean, even open leagues have 42 plus about 5 million in rookies. Can you actually get enough minutes and still have good teams?
If the cap would be raised a bit, I would be in for sure.
The cap is intentionally kept low to help as many schools as possible compete. The last 2 seasons have definitely been $44 million, and yet bigger schools have prevailed, so this version has been lowered to $43 million. Hope you'll reconsider, as this is done to promote competition, and regular seasons are always a dog-fight. We all know the schools who can put together the best All-Star teams - this League isn't for that. There are a couple teams entered. Guess how "good" they are depends on how good their owner was at putting them together compared to other owners..
