At this cap level, every franchise is competitive.

Still on the board:

Thunder/Sonics, Clippers, Dallas, Orlando, Milwaukee, Portland, Indiana, Sacramento, Nets, Hawks...

It is what it is. People enjoy this cap so I accept that, but I think you're deluding yourself if you think Toronto for example can ever beat the cavs, heat, or mavs..just saying. On a more important note, you might want to have pointfwd take a west and east team instead of two in the east, makes it less a conflict of interest with division play...and possibly playoffs. I know we only had one dual owner that I saw in season 5 and he had a west/east squad.

I got Toronto to the 2 seed

Great job! Anyone have a list of the first 4 champship teams? I think the heat won it at least twice, and the Mavs, Cleveland?

I am going to give the Thunder/ Supersonics a go

A lot depends on who the owners are. I have had success with Denver in a similar league. Competitive does not mean you are likely to win a ring, but you can make the playoffs with any team.

Don't take Toronto then. There are better options.
Regarding conferences .... tanking will result in penalties I am sure. I'm not that type of player.

If the commish would like me to drop Detroit at any point, that's cool. Just trying to fill this quicker! RL conferences are kinda silly anyway IMO.

Okay so you agree Toronto can't win it all, but they can be competitive, did I get that right?

Others may see the value in lowering the cap, but I've accepted people prefer the fun of playing with more money. That's fine, but please please stop toting the competitive BS. Every thread every year same Old bs.

Never one to hold my tongue, I've got to say this is some lame sheit - taking over someone's League Classified to complain about that League's cap. If you don't like it, don't join, or at least make the request to change it via site-mail.

I've done this League 3 or 4 of the seasons, think robb does a great job, and am always surprised by the success some owner has with a "lesser" team.

Well I used the word competitive, so...sure. I don't expect Detroit to win it all, but it will be fun to use them.

There are teams that could easily win it all still available. Especially if ppl mess up with the good franchises, which happens all the time. I would also have no issue with lowering the cap.

I think Detroit CAN win it all but it depends on who they face and what players you pick........ For example, when I did the Pistons I beat the heat almost every time but could never seem to beat he bucks, I got the 2 seed but faced the bucks in the playoffs.... Kinda similar to what happened to me with my Denver team this year lol
