Moses's weaknesses come in his efg%. The difference between 78-79 Moses and his next best rebounding season is laughable (in the other areas that matter). The difference between 78-79 Moses and his next best offensive season (efg%/paint%/fta) is not as far off in boards... but compared to everyone else? It's a matter of taste. As I said, there are a couple of really good ones available for this league.
Barkley is not as dominant a pick as before. I'm sorry if you can't see the truth in that statement. That isn't to say he isn't going to still be a dominant force in this sim. The engine didn't change; just the salary structure/position effectiveness. So the ridiculously cheap 87-88 Barkley (was probably the third most cost-effective player in the previous incarnation of the sim - 78-79 Moses & 96-97 Rice being the other two) from before is actually priced about right now. He's no longer the best high usage SF in the sim (not even 100% at SF... though I'd consider using him anyway at 99%). He's now just arguably the best high usage PF in the sim (78-79 Moses & 89-90 Mailman are in the conversation, as well as several Dwight Howard seasons.) And of course I'm still going to use him: He's my favorite player of any sport all-time. And others will use him, too, because he's worth every bit of the $10M you spend on him.
ps - I beat moses-chuck-rodman plenty in the previous version of the sim. Moses + Chuck (with Rodman in picture) was a horrible waste of efficiency. Well, not horrible... but there were better routes to go, and the better routes bent that threesome over the table. Of course, those routes involved Sir Charles...
