i will leave that up to you brad. if you take a 2nd team, i will also take another team in two days, just in case another owner would want to join within 48 hours.

Sounds good to me.  Let's wait the weekend.

I'll take Billy Donovan

looks like we're gonna start with the guards and end with the sf... but can't remember exactly... will wait for sixernuggets to post.
hopefully the draft takes place after the new players release, which seble said might be monday. places a new premium on certain players not usually taken in the top 5. thi could truly be an interesting draft.

Very cool.  SF pickings will be pretty slim.  This will be a good time with lots of drama.

Here is the coaches draft list.
Red Auerbach PG.
Billy Donovan C
Jeff Van Gundy PF
Bobby Knight SG
Jimmy Valvano SF

Oh, wow.  Interesting.  I'd say the pain is spread pretty well.

DRAFT POSITIONS

1st round -   Red Auerbach =    PG
2nd round -  Bobby Knight =     SG
3rd round -   Jeff Van Gundy =  PF
4th round -   Billy Donovan =     C
5th round -   Jimmy Valvano =  SF

this is the offical draft order by position.... good luck!

4/16/2011 8:54 PM
Ah, that changes things.  I assumed for a sec that the list sixer posted was the draft order by position.
4/16/2011 9:01 PM
no, brad.... sixer's list just shows what positions each coach represented.... i sent this list to him before the 5 volunteers chose their coaches. whatever coach chose first, then that position would be drafted first. malone picked first, and he went with red auerbach. red was a pg, so, pg's go first. eliebowitz picked 2nd, and he chose the madcapper knight, who was a sg, so, sg's go 2nd. and so forth. looks pretty even.

only 1 rule about how you use your player is this: up to you (just as long as the player you draft is 100% eligible at that position). so, yes, you would have to draft the 100% sf rodman. but, you do not have to play him at the no. 3 slot.

oh god, it's rizitos! this guy kicks the crap out of me all the time. big welcome to you, but i'm gonna make sure you demonize someone else this time. haha. slot number 15 is yours!
Thanks Scud but this doesn't exactly answer my question.  Same example, we are in the SF draft and I choose Dennis Rodman and his 91-92 season is at 100%SF.  But then can I use 97-98 season which is NOT 100% at SF?

I beleive that's what he means by 'draft' though - as in 'you have to draft 91-92 but you can use him whereever you like
'
maybe Im wrong

maybe we should submit player and season when we pick to confirm?

I think last time it was just if you draft say Rodman as an SF, you have to use one of his seasons that's 100% SF eligible. You just didn't have to play him at SF in your actual lineup if you wanted to play him at PF or whatever.

i thought i did answer that question clearly...lol. let me try again. when i look at your team compositions and click on "add info", and if it does not say rodman - sf - 100%, then you have the wrong rodman on your roster. rodman has to be 100% eligible at sf to be drafted as a sf. where or how you play him is up to you. bargearse is right... so is monk
