1) Bullshit. You meant disrespect towards myself and Malone. Don't deny it. Your denial of rationale has already been such an overload that Egypt has flood warnings out. "We don't need your juvenile behaviors"
2a) Any theme league that gets posted here will be subject to people making comments, often times constructive, sometimes not so constructive. Get used to it or get the hell out. Some great themes exist today because someone had an idea and was willing to listen to more experienced owners to change some details.
2b) There's no campaign to kill the $100M. It's a joke and doesn't exist. But if you and 23 other people want to play it, I'll say what I said in the very beginning of this thread:
TO EACH HIS OWN. Besides, it wasn't 55 we were advocating, it was 60 or less. I wasn't even advocating anything... I was responding to Malone. You know... how a thread works?
3) There's duplication and there's exact copies. You make a high cap league and you'll see the same teams, not just same players, but the same teams. And where will those teams be? The division leaders. You can talk about cp3, Frazier or the Admiral, but none of those guys will appear on those top teams that will
dominate you.
You clearly don't understand some of the basic concepts of this sim, much less the advanced ones. You bring up absurd examples (cp3 in foul trouble, so you have to bring in fish. First of all, cp3 is not going to get into foul trouble very often. We'll be generous and say 2x a season. If a low-foul guy getting into foul trouble twice in 82 games ruins your fun, you need to do something else. You also need to learn how to properly manage foul trouble in the sim. I bet you have no idea how to do that. Then you assume that someone would have a terrible player like Fish as a back-up. I have better players than fish as my back-up in $42M leagues. Then you assume that matchups mean something! They mean so little it's ridiculous).
It's okay to be a noob. It's okay to not understand these things. It's okay to want to play in a high cap for misguided reasons. All of that is fine. But lashing out at more experienced players who are trying to help you... that's not okay. Telling people who have been here for years how to behave here is not okay. You're wrong about a lot of ideas, but you're most wrong for that. You have much to learn, but I don't think anybody you've offended around here will care to teach you. Go back to Egypt, Cleopatra.
