I've had success in these types of leagues with my Bears before, Malone, and the 12th man rule really helps...

For clarification, the 12th guy from another school in the same state CAN be from a school that somebody else is using, right?
Well for example you want to use someone from UCLA then no becuase someone has already choosen them as their team.  But if the team is not chosen then more than one person can use this player.

Sorry to be a pain in the a**, but I want to make sure I have this right - because someone is using UCLA as their main team, I can't, for example, use Bill Walton as my 12th guy, and because I'm using Cal as my main team, the UCLA guy can't use, for example, Jason Kidd as his 12th guy. But either one of us could use Mark Madsen and his mad dancing skillz as our 12th guy, correct?

That is correct but if you want this on your team, well I dont know what to think lol

What?!?!?! So, really no one can draft their team until all teams have been selected?? I was under the impression that you could take any player from another school as long as they played in the same state as your team. Am I the only one that's confused????

Please put me down for..........University of Illinois.

Contingency that our 12th man can be anyone in the state even if they are on another team in this game.

Well you can but if someone chooses your team you'll have to change it up.  I did say the players the team you choose are exclusive.  We are down to 2 teams left and I'll monitor it.

Sorry if a player chooses another team in your state all those players are exclsuive.  But I dont think there another team in Illinois you can even make a roster out of. I'll put you as in, let me know if you want to pull out

This is a good example:

Yeah, I didn't notice it at first but I get it now I think.

Chances are I change my team 10 times between now and when we fill.

The cap makes things real tough.

So if I understand this correctly.....

My team is Detroit

I can't use Magic because MSU is gone......
nor can I use ANY Spartan for the same reason.  Whether my player is on the MSU roster for this league or not..it doesn't matter, they are all blocked by MSU being chosen as a school.....Same for Michigan......And the MSU owner just got POed cause I blocked Spencer......So we can all can have Gervin or Thunder Dan or will these players be exclusive as well?  And how is that determined?

Is the goal to have all players in the league exclusive?

If the answer to these questions are all yes, then I'll be back to the drawing board to find a new school, just like all the other owners jumping ship....

Well I dont think Michigan State would be POed at all, they have a very good team without even adding a new player.  But yes you did block spencer for MSU and Michigan.  But all teams in Michigan can have Majerle or Gervin, they are not exclusive (becuase no one would ever pick their schools).  The reason being for this we need 24 teams that can win it all and the teams out of North Carolina and California will have a serious advantage.  Trying to level the playing field.  Gwhouse check your sm by the way.
