One guy I have been considering for 4 rounds is STILL on the board. But in the end, I decided to go with a guy I saw play alot.. and a guy I always thought was underrated.
3 x all-star
3 x all-defensive team member
19th career in blocks and blocks per-game (probably the best non-center shot-blocker ever)
50th in nba history in offensive boards, 56th in defensive boards
LARRY NANCE
I think this finishes off my frontcourt nicely. I'm not sure how people are going to evaluate Walton or even how I get to use him in this tournament thing (limited minutes?). But I like my front court now. Nance can play PF or C, can rebound, can block shots, is a great defender, and a very efficient scorer. He was a career .546 shooter with a good post game and a good mid-range jumper. He also worked his way up to being an 80% ft shooter in his last few seasons. I wanted a solid defender/shot blocker/ who could play in the post and sink a jumper.. that's larry nance. Oh yeah, he can slam it down too ( won the first nba dunk contest).
