Snydpie what'd you think drafting 2 seasons at a time.  First draft would be 65-66 & 66-67.  Doubles the draft depth and makes for quicker roster turn over.
and thus quicker turn around for losing teams.  Might keep things more interesting.  This seems close to a go. last 7owners may take some time but that's
a good number for now.

It's funny you mentioned drafting 2 seasons at a time cuz I was thinkin the same thing the other day and  I was going to mention it on here but we would need to settle on a season to start drafting one season at a time. I would say some time in the mid to late 70's. I like the idea of going to one season drafts after 10 years who by the way is becoming a pretty awesome band LOL starting in '75 but if this idea isn't what the rest of the league wants then it's a no go!

We need some input from the rest of the league and if they are good with this rule we will go with it.

Thanks scud & bears for joinin. We now have 19 in and a good possibility of one more. I asked for a private forum to start workin on the players available for the draft but they are draggin it out for whatever reason,   

I would like to move the 1st draft ahead 3 seasons drafting from the '51-'67 seasons to make sure we have enough mins to make it through the beginning of this league. Does anyone object to this change? This change will improve every team's player mins to make sure this league is successful from beginning to end!

I agree.  Marks the start of both NBA '51 & ABA '67 and should make league very competitive top to bottom.  Also lottery teams will add
a superstar to a team which already has some nice pieces.  The goal is going from worst to first in1 or 2 seasons. Works for the NFL and
should make play more interesting.  Let's light this candle! Only 6 to go.
