The end game is very tricky.

Salary-wise, you can't afford to leave yourself needing just 200K players and then find out there aren't any left from your specific year and/or franchise.  I still have a full-time hitter left to draft (1B or OF).  But I am grabbing 200K guys now because I have more options available with full-time hitters.  In fact, I even grabbed Carl Taylor as a possible platoon partner (at 1B or OF) just in case I have to take a 400-PA hitter (Taylor also has a couple of cheap 200K seasons)
Very true, I picked up some players with some sub-$500K options for that very reason.  Those last two rounds are gonna be really interesting.

I don't know, it's relatively unlikely that a lot of people are going to be looking for low-salary guys from the teams AND years. I just left myself some extra salary room (2M for 6 players).

This is a little early but I have a meeting I need to get to. I'll repick later if I have to.

Well, yes - that's the other option of course... Leave yourself plenty of extra salary.

But if at all possible, I'd rather have four 200K players and grab a $1M relief pitcher that I can occasionally use than to have to select five $350K scrubs.

We'll see how it ends up. I didn't want to have to plan which 200K guys I took in order to leave open a team with a usable reliever. That sounds like trouble to me. I'll probably grab a 100 PA PH in Round 26 with whatever's left, but there's less pressure to find a good one with that.

Ahhh, but when you are a little light on innings (like I am), that last RP could be the difference in my fatigue issues.

Very true. It all depends on your situation. With Castro a few rounds back, I'm over 1,400

I had to get a Padre from 1975. He was the best out there. I have plenty of $ but my last 5 guys will truly suck

With his terrible 1968 (for 200K), that gives me 1470IP of 1.01 WHIP...
