wait...2 of those teams are owned by the same person, stheo81. even if nothing shady is going on, you can't ethically make a trade between 2 teams that you own. sorry guys, but i'm not down with this.

What do you mean by this, jstew? Do you mean you emailed the commish before the trade and he said it was okay? Or you emailed him after the deal?

sorry, but the reds are getting players from the brewers and vice-versa. stheo81 owns both of those teams. it's no better than my yankees trading paul o'neill to my expos for wil cordero, or whatever. no way. not kosher.

I'll be surprised if he lets it go through. I think it's simple: an owner with 2 teams shouldn't be able to trade with himself.
