What range did you set AAA to? If it's average, then some of the players might be below the salary threshold for average, which I think is $1.5M or so for hitters, and $1M for pitchers.

I have a couple of players for whom this is a problem. I suppose I can just juggle the team around so only qualified players are in my AAA slots for drafting, then move them around before the season starts. I don't know how AAA set up works, so if it's a pain to solve this problem then no worries!

Definately second brianjw's sentiment. This has been a whale of a league to run, so props to everyone up there in management, esp. gumbercules.

I ran into the same problem.  I just put whoever I could in AAA and figured I could move the guys around easier once the league starts.  I did send in a ticket to CS to find out exactly why it's happening (I probably just didn't set the settings right) so next season it'll be easier.  Sorry for the inconvenience to all.

My team is "for sale" - as soon as a replacement owner for my small market experiment is found in this or any future season, I will happily step aside
