Don't win a ton of regular season games, if I'm only going to lose in the first round of the playoffs.  Meanwhile, the teams drafting 15th and 18th are playing in the World Series.  (You might want to re-thing the draft order for future leagues - maybe moving the champ and runner-up to the end of the draft).

schwarze, that's a good thought.  And I thought that was how we did this draft until I looked at the rules from the last leg.  Don't think I want to change things up for this season, but if the group would like to make some changes for next season, I'm definitely open to it.  Perhaps as follows:

• All non-playoff teams by winning %
• All division round playoff teams by winning %
• LCS losers by winning%
• World series runner-up
• World series champ

Feel free to weigh in on that suggestion either here or via sitemail.  Again, won't make that change for this leg since we've already begun, but will consider it for next season.  Thanks!

I didn't mean to suggest to make the change for this draft... but maybe for the next draft.

Doesn't really matter to me although I think the reason it was set up the current way is so that we can get the next season's draft started earlier instead of waiting for several weeks to finish.

Houston for me. couldnt decide between 2 teams so I was hoping somebody would claim one and make it easy for me. no such luck.

I think I'll give the Brewers a shot.  Can't be much worse than my Red Sox.

interesting teams still out there, I was happy with my Royals & my draft, just didn't materialize on the pitching side as I thought.

No worries, Disco.  In other news, jose had more surgery today.  I just got a sitemail from his son, and he said the surgery went well.  jose likely won't be on the site for a few days yet, but I think we'd all agree the league wouldn't be the same without him.  Prepare for a wait of a couple of days as jose's turn to choose a team comes up.  Thanks.
