Between the Indians and Red Sox, I'd say Speaker should end up with the most, considering each franchise will be drawing from different seasons.

I would have guessed Cobb as well for the 7. There were 8 different Cobb seasons I was thinking of using; I'm a little surprised that some of them didn't end up getting used.

maybe detroit's pitching is so bad everybody has enough money left for an expensive cobb.

Cobb is at 5 currently, along with Speaker (Cle), Santo, Hornsby (StL), Mantle, Cochrane, H.Wagner, Pujols, A.Simmons.  The only pitchers at 4 are W.Johnson, Koufax, M.Rivera. 

And with 69 more teams to come, a lot of this will change.

So you're not counting combined franchises?

(ie: Speaker with Boston and Cleveland, Hornsby with St. Louis and Chicago, etc.)

Nope...with all the good years I really found it hard to put a good starting staff together I liked.  Bullpen yes, offense yes but SP was suprizingly lacking.

ya, but I find that helped make it easier to justify the offensive spending.  With the Tigers, the problem was the same, but even with the high priced options on the Tigers offense, I still don't feel good about it.  My Yankees  offense (and like you said, the bullpen) can more then compensate for the SP

As one of the laggingist owners, I have drafts of all my teams built, just still tweaking the ones that aren't entered. Won't have any issues with the deadline.
