Since Jtpsops already has his Moore, I will save $2 million and select

'45 Cooper (St. Louis, full season)

How's everyone shaping up so far?

JT - How are you able to put together a roster when you are only drafting all sub $1 million players.  I understand that you'll be able to add Pujols, Stanky and Kiner as full-time starters to go along with Swift.  But even with 9 teammates, that still leaves you short about 3 full-time players.  Are you just going to end up using some crappy guys like DeJesus and Daal?
4/19/2011 4:13 PM
Not at all...I'm going to have 5 offensive teammates (to go with Pujols, Kiner, Stanky) and 4 pitcher teammates to go with Swift, Cooper and Lidge.  3 will be starters, and one will either be a closer or a 4th starter who serves as a two-inning closer.  I'm not exactly sure how it's all going to look as of yet, but I've covered all my bases.  I won't be short anywhere.

I will probably have offensive weakness at C, SS and 2B, but Pujols, Kiner, Musial, Schmidt and Bonds should make up for it.

Didn't we ask calhoop the same thing in version 4 (the infamous Earl Whitehill season) and I believe he ended up in the Series.

I'm currently at 5229 PA's   .301/.371/.471  B/C+  $43,758,800
Pitching looks like: 1231 IP  3.01 era .220 oav  1.12 whip .78 hr/9  1231 K - 389 BB @ $38,715,530
I'd say 90 inniings pitched are throw away. Ivan DeJesus and Pedro Feliz hurt the O a bit.
