1938 Terry Moore

That's a nice pick.  If I was smarter, I would've taken D.Sanders partial '94 season (instead of the 589-PA version that I took) and lined it up with '38 Moore.   I really thought about taking '38 Moore anyway, but I couldn't justify spending the extra $1.6M so I went the cheap route with the crappy $1.9M '46 Moore (but I did get to add a very good Musial season).  I'm going to have to use about 100 or so PA's of '46 Moore.

Thanks. I can use him to fill in for Kiner and as a defensive replacement for  him as well.

I was thinking of that strategy as well - pairing the 38 Moore with the 92 Sanders but Blackmink took the Sanders before I had the chance. I am going to platoon the 48 Stanky and the 77 DeJesus at 2B so I don't have to waste all of DeJesus' salary. Kinda forced into that strategy after someone (schwarze) took the cheap DeJesus in the first round which was going to be my first pick.

I may end up platooning at C with '54 Campanella, but other than that, I'm solid with regards to salary.  I have $3mil DeJesus who will be my primary backup IF, but the rest of my bench is $1mil and below.

Whew... I'm glad somebody else wanted that DeJesus pick, because at the time,  I was ticked that I lost out on both '05 Peavy and '43 Cooper.  If it makes you feel better, you grabbed '93 Daal right before I was going to take him.

I figured out that I will have about $11 million in wasted salary, most of it ($10M) due to overabundance of pitching (1900+ innings).  Guys like Cooper, Swift, Daal, Brazle, F.Rodriguez are extra bodies that I won't be using... at least I got realtively cheap versions of these guys.

We'll give you 1995 Deion Sanders instead.  Coincidentally, his salary is also 1,029,402.

And pedrocerrano is the first to be able to finish the draft.  He's the only person who needs Moore, Sanders and Peavy
