I also enjoy having two days in between my picks.....i spend a bunch of time making a list of 10-15 players only to see them all get drafted and having to make a new list.....only to see them all get drafted and having to make a new list...........

I'm just not sure if I feel good that "my list" gets drafted meaning I'm at least tracking on picking the right guys or not...oh well, just finished ranking the next ten guys.....

And for those wondering, my next three hopeful picks are 
1. 1970 Mike Fiore 
2. 1970 Jimmie Hall 
3. 1970 Ken Szotkiewicz

So with Eddie Collins-Ty Cobb and Billy Williams, I saw the need to add some Right Handed punch to the Ball Club.  I feel that I did that with the addition of 1970 Rico Carty .366 HR's 25 and Frank Howard .298 HR's 44.  Rico Carty will either Play LF or DH, while Frank Howard will either Play LF or 1B.

I almost took George Scott with my last pick, but I saw that he is mainly a 1B from 1971 on and if I took a third firstbaseman I would have for sure been fired.

Looking at my current roster, and the roster for the next 6 years, it looks like I should be focusing on different seasons than I have been. And everyone knows that changing strategies mid-draft always works out well.

Well, I already had Bill Melton... primely a Thirdbasemen... but he misses 1972 season.... So Scott can now play Thirdbase in '72 and Be my Firstbaseman or DH other seasons... so he fit perfectly into my Lineup...  
also, as mensu1954 said... I can't believe he lasted as long as he did.... Lucky enough for me...

I might Bat Eddie Collins 2cond, if I get a decent Lead Off Hitter.  Against Left Handed Pitchers I'll flip Williams and Carty in the Lineup.

Just Drafted Fred Toney P and Jim Hickman OF.  Was planning on Draftimg Clemente and a CFer but that didn't work out, so I decided to go with Toney and Hickman.  I'll probably put Hickman in RF and shift Cobb over to CF.  So Hickman would Bat 7th with a .325 Averg. and 32 HR's. Not bad for the 7th hole.

If you read the first page of the Draft... It say's that there will be NO Trading of Draft Choices or Players during the First Draft... So I don't belive you can Trade Cy Williams until after the Season has started..

Hal McRae, good pick at this stage, almost took him last round. While researching him I came across probably the best meltdown ever, the infamous tirade against reporters and their 'stupid a#@ questions'. Must see.

It was hard to pass up those 54 doubles but I had to play catchup with my pitching staff.

I just picked Fred Nicholson OF because he hits .360 in 1920 with 286 PA's.  He'll be a nice replacement for Cobb 521 PA's and Carty 560 PA.  Next year Fred hits .327
Then I picked Larry Gardner 3B who hits over .300 the next 2 years and is an above Averg. Fielder.
