Time to raid a division rival.  I will take Billy Wagner from the Atlanta Braves.
well played coach. you waited until I had picked before poaching. now I have no stud reliever. paybacks will be a *****.
Trust me.  Waiting was not intentional and I never even looked to see if you had already picked.  The Wagner I wanted had already been picked and I didn't see anything else that I really wanted.
I just read your earlier post and I apologize. I hope your Mom is doing better. I've been through that fire before. still doesn't mean that next time, I won't poach.

God I hate political ads. I live in Florida where the primary is in 2 weeks and it is non stop political venom and spew. mostly Romney but more than enough of everybody else to make me vomit. tv off until February.

Thanks man but there is no need to apologize.  I knew you didn't know what I had going on.  I've been in a lot of leagues with you and we're good.  As far as the poaching goes, I wouldn't expect or want anything less!

sorry I'm late, all. was driving all day.

this is probably an oddball Rule V pick, but I've always had a lot of success with him, and now I need a 3B: Doug DeCinces, LAA

Just Disco and thaneoffife left to pick.  I'll check in one more time before bed to see if they've chosen.  If so, league number could come out tonight, though I've still got a bit of tweaking left on my roster.

This almost just became the first leg where the Yankees did *not* lose two players in each round.

Also: From Cubs Fans: Thanks, everybody, for leaving us Billy Williams!

I'm going to hope to ding a division rival and take Juan Guzman, Toronto.
well he would've been the worst pitcher on my team but he is a starter. now I go to battle with 800 bullpen innings.

And here I was going to take an OF but became convinced that Murcer was going to end up sneaking through.  Rats.

I love Billy Williams...also surprised that Prior wasn't taken.

Had I lost Williams before my pick, I would have taken Foster from the Reds (or maybe Wynn from the Astros).

Couple other notables:

This was the first time an Angels owner didn't protect Tim Salmon at some point, and he slipped through.
jose can u c lost no Padres to the draft, despite past popularity of Hoffman, Loretta, and, to a lesser extent, Winfield.
Another one who might have been seen as a long-shot to slip through: Indians' Sabathia.

Angels had to decide 3b b/w  DeCinces, Figgins, and Glaus.   No decision needed now w/ Figgins and DeCinces being stolen.
