I still got 2 more HOF to fill in some holes. Eck was my guy - he is the only one that played with both maddux and pedro. Joss is the best pitcher in SIM and he is all mine.

So, we can use another HOF'er if he is a team mate of one we draft as long as the HOF'er is undrafted?
Correct.  for example micki can use Cy Young unless someone else drafts him specifically.

Indeed.

It was brought to my attention that we should have a time limit on picks. I will say this: I don't want to skip anyone. However, in the interest of keeping the draft from dying completely, I will, starting Saturday morning, March 31st, at 8am Central Time, invoke a 24 hour rule. This is to give everyone who is on the clock or near it the chance the prepare for this time limit. You are free to proxy sitemail me with your selections (and if you title it Draft Proxy Selections, I won't even read your choices until your turn is on the clock). I'd prefer nobody sitemail me a proxy unless they plan to be away from the computer for over 24 hours.

So, in summation, starting at 8am central time Saturday, a 24 hour clock will be in place for all picks.

Thanks, and I really hope we can get many picks done per day. 6 picks on the first day is awesome. Thank you guys.

For the record I work and 1 hour or 1/2 hour time slots won't work for me.  I think a 12-24 hour limit is fair.

I would agree with something in between the two suggestions. 6-12 hours would be sufficient even for those without access to a computer at work.

I'm just anxious to get going and do my research and make picks. this is as fun as playing the games!

I think 6 hours weekdays and 4 on weekends would be fair.  Weekend time could consist of Sat @ *;00AM--Midnight for Sat. and the same for Sunday.  Anyone who is going to do much research probably has a priority list made already or will have after Round #1

My two cents...

As long as we're moving along, no time slots needed...If/when we get bogged down, then the commish can set something up if he chooses...

And IMHO, the 2nd rd will be a much tougher/longer decision process...First rd should be easy...Third rd (fewer choices) should be easy...

I like the way we are moving, time limit is needed that much. Plus time limit is very difficult for me because I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. I will roll with whatever we gotta do though. Doesn't matter to me.

good deal... just a suggestion... as long as guys aren't getting impatient & we're moving along- I'm cool with whatever...
* If we do go to timeslots- I'm on a computer all day @ work & could take proxies...
Stay safe out there, Casey !  Got a good buddy from childhood over there out of Denver... wishing you all the best, man !
