Okay the last HOF player to be drafted is......drumroll....Willie Mays. Not only am I a Giants fan, but had to take him away from some of you ;)

Now for the first Protest Vote Pick....This was a hard one...Not really, it was ridiculously easy for me. Jeff Bagwell.

Not often one sees the words "my starting shortstop, Edgar martinez" .

I had someone else rated way way higher on my draft board than those first two picks. guess is what you need to fill in your roster that really counts.

I'm psyched that the only real HOF player that I have blocked is Ruth.  Granted I would made some entirely different choices had picks been made differently.

I'm surprised no one took Chief Bender. Some real good pitching and Baker, Jackson, Cross, Bressler, Falk and Hickman available on hitting. Another surprise was Cobb. Not a lot of pitching but some good hitters.

He has the cheapest, quality at-bats of anyone on the list because of the horrible defense; and he will play DH. Bagwell was my choice when the draft started and there are 2 others I wouldn't have been disappointed to get, but I needed the cheap ABs at this point.

Oops - didn't notice there was a DH...that's gonna really mess things up for me. ( at least injuries are off)
