One idea I think would be fun would be to alternate between DH and NO DH (ex: year 29 Yes to DH and year 30 No to DH).... some years like 1994 have two GREAT 1B (Thomas/Bagwell) and it would be great to have a chance to use both. 
The DH rule would be interesting for 1994. When I selected 1994, I picked FThomas. Team went 80-82. Having another "Big" Bat in the lineup may change things up.

I don't know either. You have to look at this ratings to figure it out. I am not an expert on this though. I think there is a thread in one of the forums that will help you determine how to find out who that player is.

Ok...I will post one recommendation that came up during the signups of Season XXXII. Teams to be realigned randomly instead of chronilogically. This would revert back to the original rule.

In conjunction to random realignment, the rule of having two seasons being owned by the same owner would be waived. The league would randomly selected only once. Whatever alignment comes up is it!

Looks to me like Powell is 1909 Red Ames.

I like this... I think it would be fun to have deadball vs huge offense in the same division... for instance 1908 and 2001...  Also I think for those of us that take two teams if they end up in the same league or division then so be it :-)

Yeah..It would be interesting if your two teams and jbohrman's two teams would be in the same division. That would be a blood bath. However, I wouldn't be surpised those if all four teams would have better records than other teams in other divisions.

The only change I would like is eliminating AAA, particularly WA AAA.  Using AAA in general to fill holes is unnecessary at 120 million.  Everyone should be able to get enough quality PA and IPs at this high of cap.  Plus, the WA AAA are too strong.  Because it is random, one person may receive several $8 million AAA while another team receives no one over $5 million. 

I'm also opposed to adding a DH.  A $120 million line up is devasting enough on pitchers as is.

EVERY league NEEDS at least SOME AAA players, to fill holes!  Example, my 1911 team only had SEVEN pitchers from 1911 & that was NOT by choice, most of the pitchers from that season had either Bust or Boon IP, they had a LOT of IP or just a few IP.  There were not many in-between pitchers & the ones that were there STUNK!

We NEED AAA players - just NOT 12/10 WAA players!  Heck, I can make a whole team from 12/10 WAA AAA players!  Im just asking that the AAA players not be difference makers.  We only need like, 6/4 AAA players & have them be either Above Average or at least Average skill levels - enough to fill 1 or 2 positions, or be defensive backups, pinch hitters - but NOT difference makers!  AND, I would like them to be either Select your own or Real Named players.  We dont need sim to give them a made up name & if they DO we have no idea who or what we are getting until its too late!  I like the select your own AAA, cuz I like to have the option of what positions I select!  Example:  If you have Gehrig on your team, with no injuries, most likely you wont NEED a defensive replacement & he doesnt need any rest - so you dont need a AAA 1B?  Also, with the pitching AAA, If you have 4 top of the line SP, with plenty of IP, you dont need 2 SP & 2 RP in AAA?  But the main reason I like the select your own is that if sim assigns the AAA, its almost GUARANTEED that that sim will screw you!  I have had that happen SO many times in the past!?  I leave 1 position open & sim gives me "A" stamina players at every position, except the 1 I need to fill?

The other issue I have - I would like to have RANDOM alignment!  I would like to see how teams from different ERAs do against one another, making it FUN, as opposed to seeing my 1911 team facing the SAME players from 1910-1915 (Same players, different years) playing a whole season against one another, BORING!  I would like to see how my 1911 team would do against teams from the 50s/60s/80s/90s/2000s - BEFORE I get to the PLAYOFFS!  If I wanted to see how Ty Cobb performs against Joss or WJohnson or Mathewson - or see how Barry Bonds performs against Maddux or RJohnson or RClemens - ALL I have to do is look it up in the history books!  I WANT to see Cobb vs Clemens or Gibson!  I want to see Bonds vs Joss - that is the MAIN selling point of sim "Seeing players from different Eras facing each other"!?  Seeing players playing against the same players, from the same Era, for a whole season, all the time is BORING!

I am fine, or I can work with, most of the other rules!  DH or NOT DH doesnt bother me!
