I'm sure this must have been done in WIS football, but I have never been in one.

Lets say we have a draft, by position, with eight rounds:  QB, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, TE, Defense and Offensive line.

We would have a snake draft 1-24 then 24-1 and so forth.

I will randomly decide which position gets drafted first and then the order.

Each player that gets drafted, becomes yours exclusively, including team defense (I.E. if you pick the Steelers, no one else can use ANY Steelers defense)

The rest of your team can be filled out using non-exclusive players in whatever amounts you want, provided roster is standardly WIS legal.

We will do the draft here in the forum, with a draft time schedule

When you sign up below, please indicate what draft position you would like.  I will choose once we have the 15th owner in.

Lets set the cap at $80 million (unless someone can convince me on a different amount)

OK thanks.  Sit tight guys.  This might take a while.

I gotta say to anyone thinking of this league...I used to be freaked out by draft leagues like this.  I gotta say it is easier than you think.  We do the draft in the "theme leagues" forum on here.  Owners are sitemailed in advance of their pick by previous pickers.  Proxy bids can and should also be used, meaning if you are going to miss your draft slot, you can sitemail a couple of other owners a list of possible picks and they will make your pick for you.  There is no reason to NOT do a league like this because you feel a "lack of control".  Try it and you will like it, I promise!  Try it with THIS league if you havent before.
