BEST USER NAME

In trying to keep up with new ideas for live leagues, here is one that was been buzzing around my head for awhile, and now we are into season 12.   Take your user name...your starting lineup must read your user name from top to bottom.  So, in the instance of my user name, habsfan1, my leadoffs last name must start with H, batting second: A, third: B, and so on.  Obviously, we'll skip over any numbers.  If you have a user name that is too short...then you start over again.  So, my #8 hitter must start with the letter H.  If you user name is too long...you cut it off after the 8th batter.  Your lineup must follow this for the first 5 innings.  Only exception is in the pitchers spot.  So, if you make a double switch with your pitcher, you need to ensure that the spots in the 1-8 order remains consistent.  Again, this is for the first 8 batting order spots.  Failure to follow this as your starting lineup will result in you forfeiting the game.  Obviously, the first 5 innings is only controllable in live games, however your starting lineup must read your names for all simmed games.  The reason why I would like the 1-8 order to remain consistent for the first 5 innings, is that I want to avoid a 200k scrub with the correct initial starting the game, only to have him removed immediately with another player (so don't use that as a strategy please)....that would defeat the purpose.  Have any questions or suggestions...list them here.  Hope it all makes sense!

NOTE: If you user name has an X or a U in it...skip the X or U.  Also, if you have an I, you can use Ichiro

I realize that this will exclude some owners, but just wanted to see if there was any interest in something like this.

• 60 game minimum live play.  
• $140 million cap
• 6/4 average AAA to help fill holes.  AAA players should be renamed with your user name letters in mind.  Be prepared!  If your 3rd basemen will need a rest here and there, have your AAA 3rd baseman with the same initial.  The batting order still must have your USER name from top to bottom. 
• Clones NO; DH NO; WW YES (within theme) Trades NO
• BACK-UP PLAYERS AND PITCHERS.  The only letters that you may use are the letters in your user name.  It is that simple.
• Ballparks:  Park must start with a letter from your user name.
• Team Names:  Bah...I don't care...have fun.
• League number: TBA

I think I played one other time when it went in reverse because I am not a huge fan of the EE in the 3-4 holes. But I think I am going to give it a go here.

Now all pitchers and bench players have to start with the letters in your name... since my name goes past the 8 spots in the line up can I make use of the H, B, O, R for those spots? Obviously the bench guys wouldnt be able to spot start but the pitchers still could correct?

Yes, you can use all the letters in your name for the bench and pitching staff.  That reminds me of that reverse one...we should try that again next time.
