I confirm.  ackety's 09 Tigers beat me in a wild game 13-12

Rose and cobb had 4 hits apiece.  Cobb drove in 5 runs including 2 HR and a 14th inning game winning single.

To determine which tribe wins, if there is a 4-4 tie I will set up a one-game playoff to determine the winner. The individual player on the losing tribe who gets the most hits from Cobb or Rose in one game will get individual immunity for this round only. The four players playing one game each on Tribe 1 will receive a clue to an idol hidden on Exile Island; they will each get to ask one yes/no question and make a guess.

PERTINENT REMAINING BONUSES
FishNasty: You can demand an intentional walk once in one game (Pause the game and wait for acknowledgment from your opponent).
kneeneighbor: You may have the opposing pitcher ejected one time in the 7th or 8th inning.
The Taint: One SP may be used twice by your tribe in a challenge that otherwise disallows it.

acketyack and FishNasty each had a four-hit game from Ty, so there is no winner of individual immunity. Please answer the question addressed to you below and feel free to opine on any others. After that, send in your vote. If you want to play an immunity idol, you must let me know that before all the votes are in and read. Deadline for voting is midnight Tuesday, but once I have all four I will announce the results, so if you want to play an idol don't wait. Once I have received a sitemail with your vote, that vote is final and cannot be changed.

BastanRedsox: There are five immunity idols in play and just one has been used so far. At least two of the four on your tribe have gotten clues to at least one idol, so are you concerned about another shocker at Tribal Council?

Let's just say that through my sources, I know who has the immunity idol that pertains to this round. Let's also say that he had balls last time around, but this time around we are going to call his bluff, because at this point, if I go home, I go home, but I'm not going to vote someone that can help me in the future out. I also love the questions given out this week by you Josh because at least to me, it leads me to believe that we are on the right trail as to if someone has an immunity idol or not. All I have to say is that someone needs to watch their back this vote, and that someone has a "T" in their name.

Second, with four players - I think it is hard. I know I am on the outside looking in and this has been a blast. This game is great and I think Josh has done a great job organizing it all.

Ack claims he has an immunity idol, but I'm not so sure he does. He would have played it last week. So to awnser your question, no I don't believe he has the idol.

The first idol introduced into the game proved the hardest to find. nfet, kneeneighbor and tropicana all searched in vain for the answers to these clues:

- George never had to see a man about this giant of a horse, since they already had one of the most important things in life in common. (kneeneighbor, nfet, acketyack)

- Sometimes Fame comes to Giants of the game after a long wait. A group of oldies decided 81 years was right for one pitcher.

There were some excellent guesses, including Harry "The Horse" Danning, Lou Gehrig, and the George and Billy Miller Lite commercials.


Eventually acketyack took a shot at this fella and won...

There will be a one-game playoff between nfet and FishNasty to determine who goes home. Details of the challenge will be unveiled when it is time to play the game. nfet and FishNasty, please come up with a time in the next couple of days when you can get the game in. I am generally tied up from 4-8:30 ET in the evening, but if I can't be around, I will pass the details of the tiebreaker along to someone who can.
