nfet with the 2000 White Sox takes down FishNasty's 1908 Cubbies, 5-2. The Cubs leave the bases juiced in the bottom of the ninth after finally getting Keith Foulke outof the game. FishNasty becomes the first member of the jury. nfet lives to play another day.

I'm swamped with work tonight, and will post a new challenge on Thursday. Sorry Fish, tough way to go out but I tried to come up with something that was fair and more or less matched the sudden drama of the tiebreaker's used on the TV show.

Obviously I'm disappointed with how this turned out. Np josh, you have run a great survivor so far and I hope to be back next year. As to those left, good luck on becoming only the 2nd named Survivor. Good job nfet. Cya next time everybody.

Toddleduc is going to be gone for four days, so I'm going to hold off on the next elimination challenge until Tuesday. I think it will be a fun one! In the meantime, we will have a competition between two tribes of four for valuable bonuses. Before tribes and matchups are announced, each of the eight remaining players other than toddleduc should post a favorite team (season and franchise). After all eight have posted a team, I will explain how they will be used. With the format I have in mind, though, I don't foresee a difference between picking a great team or a lousy one, so just go with a team you like. It can be a team you saw as a kid, one you watched win or (for our Cubbies fans) lose a memorable game, etc. Once they are posted, I'll explain the challenge, the bonuses and will list the matchups. No research needed for this one, so the deadline to post is Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
