nope... trades just went thru with my tournament team, and both my teams just got training results... bet the draft happens tomorrow AM and we play tomorrow night.

I spammed all the Bryan Wiebe's again.

My tourney team got games scheduled. Unfortunately, they got tagged with three loses in games played by some AI team. I probably got what I deserved.

I've got one guy joining for sure, possibly a 2nd.  Both from the league I'm folding.  Worried about ******* things up by bringing them in too soon, but also feel they should get a jump on free agency since they are so far behind.

Thoughts, everybody?

I just got a sitemail and a pleasant surprise. We have another guy after the holiday weekend. With your two, that'd give us 20, right?

I don't know that they can screw anything up by picking thru the scraps can they? Be cool if all the new guys got in between the end of the playoffs and the end of the offseason

I don't know if I'll get the 2nd guy or not.  He's actually a buddy of mine, but he went inactive in this other league.  I'll talk to him and see.

Ideally, they get in before we all get a shot at free agents.  That will **** plenty of us off, but seems like the most fair thing.

Of course, I always forget which night the talent pool gets unlocked.

I got the #2 on my list, Jay got my top dog.

I'm not sure it's quite the home run you think it is.  He's got crap for potential.  He's a poor man's Robert Dome posing as a poor man's Adam Oates.

you needed ANOTHER defenseman like you need a hole in the head. 96 OFF, 82 SPD, and 84 PASS, he can play with somebody good while his shot comes around. 73 STA too, he may actually play well all three periods.

certainly his speed and offense will be huge helps to my lineup. 

i just don't know that he's going to improve much.  i'm gonna have to get him a good trigger man on his wing.
