I think the off-season is supposed to end on the 6th, so Wednesday (the 7th) we're supposed to start next season (if that's what you're asking).

too right, depending on how the draft shakes out, I could be trading forwards, defensemen, or a goalie, or one each from columns A & B, or A & C.

I'm going best-player-available, and have all three in my top-5. So I gotta wait and see too.

there are three guys I really have a burning desire to get ahold of:

Micah Oren from Raleigh, Tuan Munar from St. Louis and Kimmo Reinhart from the free agent list. As far as what's going back, I'll know after the draft.

Order of events should be:
Last round of the draft, offseason begins, free agency opens, offseason ends, new season starts.

the offseason is supposed to start tonight at midnight, but that schedule was made before we had that burp during the 1st round.

New season originally supposed to start on July 7th

I'd be fine with starting the new season on Friday, when Pdood is done house sitting.

Agreed....I have a loan that will put me in the red if we wait too long, but Friday was within my timeframe.

I can't imagine having to wait for friday if we can start before then.

Of course, we still haven't had either of our new signups.  Would like to get them in at the start if possible.

Izmail Sokolov. If I can get to that guy first, he will single handedly turn my whole team around.
