Since you have never tried to engage me in debate how can you be sure it wouldnt work?

I realize as a liberal talking to people with a different set of core values bothers you, but maybe if you give it a try you will be able to see issues in different ways and not be so narrow minded!

There are probably a few different ways to interpret this, depending on how cynical you are. But even the most charitable reading makes swamp seem like a ghoul.

What it means is the voters support Republicans defense strategy. 9/11 helped this because it brought defense to the forefront of debate.

The Bush is reading tactic was created to the issue of how we responded to 9/11 away from the Republicans, and make it a winable issue for the Democrats.
