Unfucking believable.  I sign on to GHL at work for the first time ever, and see there's a decent young goalie in the free agency pool.  So I dump my old dude, then click sign the new guy, and it says something like "sorry old man, Da Bluezers beat your slow *** to it."

Wombats signed Kendrew after drafting that monster goalie.

Good strategy. Squeezes a year, maybe two, out of the ultimate weapon while the next big thing is getting ready to take over. And gets a shitload of cap space to build up the rest of the team around the next big thing when Lozja comes off the books.

New goalie I stole from Gregos just jumped from a 62 to a 72 after one practice. Think I'm gonna like this new goalie.

Wombats got the #1 goalie in the draft, he has 98 potential, and now Lojza to sit behind while he goes thru the roof. That kid'll be about 75-76 overall when Lojza retires, freeing up $9M in cap space for him to buy firepower with.
