He doesnt want Mississippi to have different schools than Minnesota or Alaska to have differnt health care than Florida. He wants to make sure that everything is "Fair". He isnt stupid or evil, just wrong.

Let's say Communism and Obama aren't the same thing. Let's say democracy is a target and Communism is an automatic fast and furious rifle and socialism is a dead boarder agent. The dead boarder agent has a soft and gooey insides. Obama is out golfing and Communism sucks.

Supporting gay marriage sounds like he's in favor of less government control of our lives, not more. Cue the bullshit "states rights" response which doesn't address the issue.

Maybe they just can't accept the fact they've been duped by their "heroes" and are too ashamed to realize they are traitors to their fellow middle-class citizens. I would have respect for any of them that just admit this is the Republican/Tea Party/conservative way and end this political bickering. Too cowardly for that to happen though.

Hey Swamp 2.0 I was just replying to what swamp 1.0 said about fairness. His words not mine. But I do believe that Obama has the interests of the lower and middle classes in mind much more then any of the repubs. He has done many things in his time in office that proves that. Am I saying he is the perfect president? I think if you read most of my posts you would know that Im not his biggest fan, far from it in fact. But I do acknowledge that he is better then any repub / tea bagger president. I rue the day if Romney ever gets elected. Or for that matter any tea bagger.

So let's rephrase greeny's points by omitting the first sentence and replacing it with "Is it wrong for us liberals to want fairness for all Americans regardless of where they live, what their ethnic background is, their sex or sexual preference, their religious views, etc.?" The rest of greeny's remarks stay.

Get to it, defend your side and why it is OK for them to destroy our economy for their personal gain.

duped, brain washed, tomAto, tomAHto. Really they somehow believe that their policies are good for humanity. It takes one heck of a good brain washing machine to do that, because any rational thinking person should see that repug policies are pretty much all pro-corporation, and anti-little guy. No question Obama has been bought and paid for by the real powers that be in America. But he still has to try to get elected by generally liberal thinking people. So he has to do at least some of what he promised. Which he has, has he done enough? No way, will he do more? maybe, but again, not nearly enough. Obama does the minimum amount necessary to appease the base to have a good chance of getting elected again. The rest of the time he does his best to make his real owners happy... the corporate elite.

I gotta say, it must be hard to be a democrat leader in America, you have to at least put on a show for the little people that you are on their side, whilst at the same time stomping your virtual boot into their virtual esophagus's. The republicans have it easy, the more they show disdain for the little people the more their base laps it up and asks for more punishment. Its almost like all repugs are masochists. Well, either masochists or dumb *****, or traitors to human kind.

Life isnt fair and it cannot be forced to be fair.

Republicans believe in giving everyone the same chance to thrive and survive. We dont believe in taking all the assets in the nation and dividing by 330 million.

This isnt about rich vs poor. This is about freedom and liberty. The class warfore the left uses to win elections is based on a myth.

This isnt an issue of government interference. This is about the ability of a state to regulate marriage.

It is also about the ability of the people to determine their own fate.

How can 36 states vote for something, and no states vote against it, and Obama claims this is such a clear issue in his mind that he neds to put the power of the white house behind it!
