At least you're acknowledging Paul Ryan is a liar.

I agree, when Ryan feels the need to lie about mundane bullshit in his life, it's getting pretty bad.

I don't give a crap about what Eastwood said, it's that he looked so awful doing it on such a big stage.

I am also a crotchety old man so I understand completely what Clint was up to. So what? I love his work and nothing he said will get in the way of my regard for that. Did he say anything that bothered me? Not at all. So swamp, if you think I would bash "a beloved older actor" then you have no clue. I do find it interesting that you over look his being mayor of Carmel Calif as not indicative of being political but when it suits your purpose to build up "a stupid ****" from Alaska then being mayor of a small town become very important. What a dunce you are Peggy.
I said he didnt have political experience. He didnt really run for office.

He does have exerience as running a town and if he was up for a position I would give him credit for it.

No, the point is if Ryan will lie about something as petty as his marathon time, he will lie about anything. Also, that joke did not come from Obama or his camp.
Isnt bragging about sports acheivments an American tradition? Isnt lying about your golf scores, and the weight you can bench, and the size of the fish you caught not only common but expected?

I relaize the left does not understand Middle America and how they live but this is getting pretty bad.

Next thing you know you are going to be bashing A beloved older actor for a political joke!
So are you trying to say that middle America routinely lies about all of their accomplishments?

So when Ryan says he does the P90X, does it mean he is really doing 8 minute abs?
Maybe.

The point being that IT DOESNT MATTER!

Try to focus.

Jobs, Debt, Taxes.

Not whatever oddball topic Obama can think up.
Then why have the republicans focused obsessively on things like abortion, paring the voting rolls, and gay marriage?

And why lie about your marathon time? And yes, that would be like lying about your best golf score. And yes, it does say something about the person who feels the need to do so.

I know I'm sick of democrats focused obsessively on things like abortion, women's rights, racism, and whatever else they can come up with to avoid the solution.

I am saying that middle American men will brag a little when it comes to athletics. And it is very common.

This only appears as a major issue to you.

Just me? Nope, it appears to be an issue to lots of people.

And btw, do you actually know what brag means? Because brag and lie don't mean the same thing and you seem to be trying to use them interchangeably. It's bragging when you tell everyone you ran a marathon in under 3 hours AND YOU ACTUALLY DID! If you tell everyone and you didn't, it's lying. Get it?

so jvford, are you suggesting that it would take a real douche to lie in order to brag? That person must have some insecurities. And I don't think you can hide your insecuriteis in the Cayman Islands or a Swiss bank account.

Doug,

Then why is it that the Republicans are the ones who have been so focused on abortion, gay marriage, and non-existent (unless your name in James O'Keefe) voter fraud? Democrats aren't bringing these things up legislatively...Republicans are. So if you are going to be sick, please be sick at the cause of these topics being discussed.

Ryan is the Kim Jong Il of long-distance running.
