Just me? Nope, it appears to be an issue to lots of people.

And btw, do you actually know what brag means? Because brag and lie don't mean the same thing and you seem to be trying to use them interchangeably. It's bragging when you tell everyone you ran a marathon in under 3 hours AND YOU ACTUALLY DID! If you tell everyone and you didn't, it's lying. Get it?
so jvford, are you suggesting that it would take a real douche to lie in order to brag? That person must have some insecurities. And I don't think you can hide your insecuriteis in the Cayman Islands or a Swiss bank account.
I'm suggesting if someone's willing to lie about something that's verifiable, imagine how much he lies when it's not.

Increase taxes on the wealthiest and put more money in the hands of the people who spend.  Basic economics.
Funniest entry in quite a while.
If you think so.  But that likely means that you don't really understand economics.
Reach people don't spend.  They don't invest.  They put their money under their mattress and laugh at the little guy!

You're brilliant.
Please explain to me how investing drives the economy as fast as spending.
So, is that an admission that rich people do spend money?

Please, though, keep going.  Mention that magical multiplier effect, or some other form of fantastical liberal economic theory.
What are you talking about? Please explain to me how investing drives the economy as fast as spending.

And I was referring to all fed tax while you were trying to limit the discussion to income tax only. Because you realize that your argument falls apart when you become aware that taxation is more complicated then you can understand.
Rich people spend more than poor people.  They also invest, which does drive the economy.  How the **** does it not?

SS is not a real tax.  Medicare is not a real tax.  When people discuss who pays what in fed INCOME tax that is what they are talking about.  Even if you want to throw in SS and medicare, those two programs are absurdly progressive.  Even with those in the equation, the percentages are almost the same.  Social programs that do not work have created a system where almost half of all people pay not a damn thing.
Rich people as a whole do not spend nearly as much as poor people as a whole. Investing doesn't drive the economy nearly as much as spending.

In the context of the conversation, SS and Medicare are real taxes. (I'd love to hear your explanation of how they aren't real taxes).

So you can reduce SS taxes as a way of stimulating the economy. Sound familiar?
Everyone knows what SS and medicare are.  This little came of lopping them in with fed income tax is a complete joke.  And you claiming almost half of americans pay no fed income tax is just as good as you saying you can fly.  Because the fact of the matter is you are dead wrong.

I will also take your response re investing that you are now admitting it drives the economy.  Thanks for playing.
You have some serious reading comprehension issues.

And you have even more trouble communicating your thoughts.
So sorry for the typos.

What, no response re your admission that investing does stimulate the economy?

Ryan lies about running a mile under 3 hours. Serious character issues with this dude.

news.runnersworld.com/2012/08/31/paul-ryan-says-hes-run-sub-300-marathon/

Can't wait to be criticized by the right wing dipshits for linking to notorious left wing website runnersworld.

So he said something, they couldnt prove it was true, so even though no one asked him to explain it, you have declared him a liar??
More like he decided to give out a terrific time, thinking that he wouldn't be called out on it.

So runners world did some research and Ryan campaign confirmed that the 4 hour 1 minute 25 second time is his, and that that's his only marathon.
Maybe he was using 'Geitner-Math' and converted the time into total minutes, then used a fairy-tale figure to divide back into hours?   Isn't that how you count GM as a success?

I am suggesting that someone might stretch the truth about personal accomplisments THAT ARE IRELEVANT IN THE LARGER CONTEXT!

You guys are so desperate to cover up for calling him a liar about the plant that you need to invent stuff.

Do you have a tape of him telling a sweet old lady at Church that he loves her hat when he really thinks its ugly?

The left needs to sell this to distract from all the Campaign promises that Obama dropped the ball on.

Typical Chicago dirty politics. Accuse your opponent of what you did wrong to cover it up.

So 90% of Ameircans have Picture Ids. 13% of Americans are black. 60% of Americans vote in presidential elections...

And a law that covers everyone is based on Race??

What the poster should show is blacks asking why they shouldnt vote for Romeny based on their beliefs and a Democrat telling them that "Republicans want to put you back in chains"!!

I know I'm sick of democrats focused obsessively on things like abortion, women's rights, racism, and whatever else they can come up with to avoid the solution.
I'm assuming what DO means by avoiding the solution is referring to the GOP's Final Solution plans

Wow. You compared Republicans to Nazis. How wise and elegant.

What we mean is if the Conversation goes to how to fix the economy Romney can tell people what he wants to do and people can decide if they want that.

Obama can only say "I know I failed in my first term, but I think if you let me try it again it might work"!

Let people decide if they want that!

Funny how his "good friend Doug" can refer to all Democrats as Nazis, and swamp never says a thing.
