It's 'pinot', as in the exquisite wine; not 'pinto', as in the exploding car.  And if being opposed to just about every political/social opinion of Italyprof's makes me levelheaded, I happily accept the moniker!

It's 4th of July weekend.  Can you blame them for not being readily available this weekend?

Why has my post been reported a bunch of times? It is an old cartoon by the radical union the IWW which is merely part of the fun and banter with two people on the site - boogerlips and pintofan, who are ideologically very distant from my own views but with whom I have always had friendly interactions here, and whose views I respect enough to always engage with - if at times humorously as they do (see their comments above) mine ? 

Who reported this as though it were something that needed review by the site staff and why? 

And I didn't get to see what it said!

The starter of the thread I think is the only one that can do that. You should have joined his class action suit while ye had the chance!!

It wasn't. The 6 posts below yours were all reported. Reported posts are condensed to that redline until review, hence "redline" as the colloquial on this site.

Only the topic creator can redline a post.

Thanks all - I see now that it was those other posts that were redlined. 

And thanks pinotfan, I fully support your right to say things I disagree with as well. Just keep the wine coming, some of your ideas seem more reasonable after a bottle or two anyway. 

I will sitemail my own post if it is missing, but it was the one of the two posts where I only put in images - one of a bunch of cartoon characters with flat heads, and another with a cartoon from an old labor union newspaper about a character called Mr. Block - with a square wooden head since he always agreed with the bosses and never the union.
